Icy Morning Over The Grand Canyon

Climbing at full throttle. Climbimg is hard
when you´re at high altitude even at
the airport.

I took a short scenic flight over the grand canyon a couple of days ago. I set up with real weather and set the time to a little past dawn. it was a very nice moment. The Canyon has never looked as mystic, chilly and beautyful...

Closing in on the Edge.

The first rays of sunlight hits the mountain-
side.

The Wild Colorado River below.

Heading home as the sun rises higher and higher.

Seattle-Chicago

A Bae 146-200 AVROLINER touches down
in Seattle, shortly before our takeoff.

I recently flew an offline, Virtual Pilot-based flight from Seattle (KSEA) to Chicago, O´Hare (KORD).

It was a nice flight in high, clear fall-skies for most of the flight. (Except KSEA, which was a bit cloudy).

The aircraft is a Boeing 737-900 (the largest of the 737-family)
Ofcourse PMDG´s stunning model.

Here are a few shots.

The first turn to the right, after departure
from Sea-Tac.

Descending over Illinois.

On final approach towards one of the
busiest airports in the world, O´Hare.
